War: nothing but turmoil, bitterness and injury

Re-al-eyesMen can be such jerks, especially when they decide to flaunt their power.

Take a look at what’s going on today in the Government ‘s typical standing on Iraq and Afghanistan … and, yes, stretching to war / conflict in general. Bush … what is your purpose for sending 21,500 more troops to Iraq??!

No one wins in the long term, and truly, everyone loses (life, dignity, humanity, genuine integrity and real-ness). The person with the ‘bigger guns’ may hold the power, for a little bit anyway. But being ‘at the top’ is only temporary. We all fall down. A vicious cycle / circle indeed.

Why can’t we all get along? Why is there the need to take the upper hand? Where is the love and compassion that we humans are capable of?

Take the first step [ to peace & resolution ], and your mind will mobilize all its forces to your aid.
But the first essential is that you begin. Once the battle is started, all that is within and without you will come to your assistance.
