Play with the Grandkids

Dad and his wife Karen’s grandkids came to play for the weekend, and slaDE and I were swept along by all the excitement and laughter that the day brought with it. What a beautiful adventure it was to capture their essence with a camera, seeing the joy that only children seem to reflect in all that they do and play. Trampoline fun (I haven’t played ‘Duck, Duck, Goose’ since I was a child!), puppy love, horse rides, ventures on the four wheeler with Dad, and s’mores by the campfire. How wonderfully distracting it was from the task that lay heavily at hand, spread out all before me in the barn.
