Michael Jackson, in his own words, thoughts on Immortality

On September 25, 2007, legendary artist Michael Jackson had his last major public interview with, then editor of Ebony magazine, Bryan Monroe. What made this interview fantastic for me was MJ’s pure openness about his music. To me, that was what Michael was all about. A pure genius at what he did best. In truth, a King indeed. This audio section on immortality foreshadowed the irony of Michael’s words. Forever he will truly be alive with the pop music and dance moves that MJ left behind. In essence and soul, a luminary pioneer and superstar of his times. A Musical Icon, an American Legend, a Humanitarian.

Words of healing and restoration are what his fans need right now. For the record, Michael Jackson was more, so much more, than tabloid headlines. I forever honour you Michael.

Bob Geldof epitomized it best “When Michael Jackson sings, it is with the voice of angels, and when his feet move, you can see God dancing.”

  • Maybe he's using your IPOD that passed away last year????:) Don't ever feel you have to defend how you feel about anything. I mean all this sincerely. I only have one thing to add…….did anyone even know that troops from Iraq also came home during all this? Some from after 3 or more tours. I like how you pour your whole heart and soul into things.Wish more people could see the world that way……..♥That's what makes you even more special!!!!! Don't ever change,,.,.,.,,

  • Tis okay Jimmy :). I get carried away by some things in life, and my musical passions are one of them! Michael had a huge influence on me. Not for everyone, that's okay and I understand. We'd be all pretty boring if we didn't share the diversities in musical tastes and talents and beliefs. But a LOT of people loved him and his music. I loved his dancing moves the best along with his terrific vocal inflection and character. Just sharing my own 2 cents worth :)Miss your sunny smile and bear hugs Jimmy T.loveLive

  • PS I see God in nature everywhere as well and my brother is up there riding the wind on his motorbike as Randy flies the Otter with MJ moonwalking the sunbeams 🙂

  • Thanks Karen. I like the way I see people and the world. Call me naive at times and a bit of an emotional wagon wheel at others, I believe that we all have our own inner freak. Some people display theirs more prevalently then others, and some like me only come out to play when the mood strikes. It's all good.
