John Hopkins Info on Microwaves & Plastic Containers

—– Cancer News from Johns Hopkins —–

1. No plastic containers in microwave.

2. No water bottles in freezer.

3. No plastic wrap in microwave.

This is such valuable information … and easy to forget sometimes, especially with the convenience of both the microwave and plastic water bottles.

My 2 cents worth: don’t reuse your plastic bottles more than once, if you have to use them!
So terrible on the environment, yes, and just as bad for your health.

Lexan is a better alternative, stainless steel and glass, best (MEC sells an amazing 1litre s.s. bottle, that I am hankering to purchase!).
