Good news

Relief came yesterday in the form of a phone call to my mother …. The biopsy came back negative for cancer results and we are extremely grateful for that. My step-dad will be tested in 3 months to see if anything has returned, and if it has at that time, he will wait another 3 months to determine whether he needs to go through chemotherapy or radiation. Thank you so much to everyone for their prayers and good wishes.
Pat is doing much better now, mentally and physically, after his surgery 2 weeks ago. Initially he was slow to heal but with definite improvement; however, he went back into the hospital for a couple of days, only 2 days after being released, with chest pains and a rapid heart beat causing much concern. Thankfully, for unknown reasons, the occurence was only a temporary health situation and now Pat is on the ‘up-swing’ to better health. At this point, things are looking really positive, and my family is incredibly relieved! Such times as these really imprint the importance of family in my mind, and I am so blessed to have all of my parents still with me and in relatively good young health.
