Aging: Can we live to be 100?

ageAccording to PBS, the average American lifespan is 78 years.
If you can spare 13 minutes, this fascinating video aired on PBS’s Nova a few weeks ago and it’s well worth watching!
Hmmmm, if I had the choice, would I really want to live to be 100?

  1. Love this video Sky!

Very interesting! Love the man who is 101 and drinks his liquor straight, eats what he wants and does what he wants 🙂 Restricting calories to this extreme 1500 kcals is dangerous….but excess is not good either. My take…BALANCE….and everyone has there time here…when it is up it is up. While we are here…live…love…hug…smell…kiss…..eat chocolate….drink wine(or grape juice, even peanuts have the same healthy antioxidants as red wine)……notice each amazing breath…..each blue sky….each tear of emotion…be thankful and don’t forget to say ” I love you”……
